Artwork Recommendations

For the best printed result, submit a print-ready PDF using CMYK color and 300 DPI images. Extend backgrounds through the required bleed area and keep important dates, text, and logos inside the safe area shown on the appropriate layout template.

Calendar layout and artwork preparation

Calendar Layout Templates

Use the correct template for your selected calendar size and page count before beginning your design. Calendar artwork should be supplied as a print-ready PDF with pages arranged in reading order. Keep important text, logos, dates, and other critical elements inside the template safe area.

Artwork Setup Guidelines

  • Resolution: Build photographs and raster artwork at 300 DPI at final size.
  • Color: CMYK color is recommended for the most predictable printed result.
  • Bleed: Extend backgrounds and images through the bleed area shown on the selected template.
  • Safe Area: Keep important content away from trim edges, folds, staples, and drill-hole locations.
  • Fonts: Embed fonts in the PDF or convert text to outlines before uploading.
  • Page Order: Submit individual pages in normal reading order; do not create printer spreads.

Planning Your Calendar

Allow space for the saddle-stitch fold and confirm that each month, cover, introductory page, and optional information page is included in the selected 24-, 28-, or 32-page count. If you select a drill hole, keep live content clear of the drilling area.

Before uploading: Review dates, holidays, contact information, page sequence, image quality, and spelling carefully. A final PDF proof will help confirm that the calendar is ready for production.
